Incorrect Bounce Range (or Ticks Warning Dialog)

Modified on Thu, 23 Nov 2023 at 09:22 AM

If you are getting a warning dialog that your "Ticks" are not set correctly or if you are noticing that Auto-Bounce is bouncing a cycle range different than what you have chosen, the issue is likely that your project and/or cycle range is not ending on an even bar.

For the most reliable results, please ensure that the project length and cycle range end on an even bar number and show a "1" or "0" in the ticks field.

Step 1:

Change the Clock Format to the 4-segment display shown below.

This is accessed from the Logic Pro main menu:

Logic 10.7x: Logic Pro / Settings / Display

Logic 10.8x: Logic Pro / Settings / View

Step 2:

This is how you adjust your Project Length to end on an even bar.

(Please note: In Logic 10.7x, it will be a "1."  In Logic 10.8x, it will be a "0.")
