Can't Export Aux Tracks as Separate Stems

Modified on Fri, 15 Sep, 2023 at 12:07 PM

Auto-Bounce uses the track On/Off buttons to choose what content to bounce. It does not use AUX channels. Auto-Bounce will only allow you to mute AUX channels in order to bounce out Dry Stems, for example.

Please be sure to look at our Instructional Videos here or review the user manual for more information.

Auto-Bounce was designed to allow for running Wet and Dry stems, multi-tracks, and mixes, but not soloing the FX only.  If your goal is to run a stem, for example, of the FX only, on a particular AUX channel, there is another way to accomplish this.

Let's say you want a 'reverb-only stem' of the reverb on your Vocals.

1) Make sure all the vocals that you want to apply the reverb to are in a single Track Stack.

2) Turn off the FX send going to the reverb on your Track Stack.

2) Make a duplicate of your entire vocal Track Stack and make sure it's a Summing Stack.

3) Instead of sending your reverb through the FX Sends, add the reverb as an effect insert on the new duplicate Vocal Summing Stack and set it to 100% Wet.

Now you will have a Dry Vocal Summing Stack and a 100% Wet Reverb only as a separate Stem that you can bounce.

The additional benefit of doing it this way is that you can control precisely what is included in the reverb instead of everything combined into a single reverb stem.
