Please ensure you follow every step of the READ ME FIRST, the Pre-Flight Checklist, and the User Manual, especially the Power User Tips Section (page 27), which offers many ways to avoid issues and make everything run smoothly and FASTER. All of these documents reside in the Auto-Bounce folder in your Applications.

Here is a list of some of the most common reasons you may be experiencing a crash.
- If your Logic project has unloaded plugins due to tracks set to OFF, it can cause a Logic Hang when Auto-Bounce initiates a bounce because it needs to turn all Logic's tracks on temporarily. Loading can cause a hang which will sometimes cause Auto-Bounce to crash. There are two ways to avoid this:
1) Turn all your Logic Pro tracks and track stacks ON before using Auto-Bounce. This will force Logic to load all the plugins. Then, you can turn them off again if you wish.
2) If you don't plan on bouncing tracks that are off, consider saving a new version of the Logic project solely to bounce stems without any tracks set to OFF. The added benefit is that it makes everything quicker.
- If you have multiple Logic windows open, especially multiple track list windows, this could cause issues. Ensure that only ONE Logic track list window is open (For the sake of convenience, consider creating a dedicated Logic screen-set for Auto-Bounce so you can quickly switch between your working and bouncing screen sets.
- If you have Auto-Bounce running on a separate screen and you are getting crashes, try moving the Auto-Bounce window to the same screen as your Logic window.
- Another common reason Auto-Bounce may crash during bouncing is that the track header is not configured properly. Please make sure your settings are as follows and save this as your default so it's easier to apply to all your projects in the future.
You should NOT see volume faders on your tracks.
- Another setting that has been known to cause issues is the Vertical Zoom button. If you are getting crashes, try turning this off when using Auto-Bounce.
- Please ensure no other application or pop-up dialog interrupts Auto-Bounce while running. This includes other apps that use key commands, like Keyboard Maestro.
- If you notice any screen flashes during the scan or bounce operations, this means that one or more of the necessary key commands are not working. Please review the Setup Instructions and make sure they match in both Logic and Auto-Bounce. Also, it's recommended that you manually try each key command in Logic BEFORE running Auto-Bounce to ensure they are working properly.
- The AUX and OUTPUT buttons must be visible in Logic’s Mixer window. They are automatically visible when the window is wide enough.
- As shown in the setup instructions, please make sure the following settings are turned on in your control bar settings. We highly suggest saving the correct settings as your defaults so you can quickly apply them to any Logic project.
- Your mixer panel must also not block the entire track list when open. Please pay close attention to this during the scan and reduce the height if necessary.
