Logic 10.7.4 crashing Auto-Bounce

Modified on Wed, 2 Aug, 2023 at 9:08 PM

Logic 10.7.4 has several bugs, which Apple has corrected in later versions.  If you cannot upgrade Logic beyond 10.7.4 and are experiencing crashes with Auto-Bounce, please try the following:

1) If any of your TRACK STACKS have an ON/OFF button that is "partly on" (in a mixed state), there is a risk that Logic is not giving Auto-Bounce the correct information and this will cause Auto-Bounce to crash during the bounce process.

The safest option is to delete those tracks that are off and click the Track Stack On/Off button to make sure that it is ON. (Complete Blue)

This is due to a Logic bug in 10.7.4 where Logic will incorrectly display a "mixed state" On/Off button.  This is beyond our control and we encourage all Logic users to update Logic to the latest version if possible.
