How to using Auto-Bounce with Sidechains.

Modified on Thu, 4 May, 2023 at 2:21 PM

Auto-Bounce uses the track on and off button to choose what is bounced. If you need a particular signal to be used as a side chain, it has to remain on during the bounce process.

An effective way to keep your sidechaining effect active in your stems or multi-tracks without requiring the audible sidechain source to remain on is to create a duplicate track of the sidechain source and remove the output from the channel. In other words, create a “ghost channel.”

The video below demonstrates how to accomplish this in Logic Pro.
