Resetting Auto-Bounce Key Command Preferences

In most cases, Auto-Bounce requires no preference adjustments. However, if your key commands become corrupted or misconfigured, the quickest way to restore defaults is by resetting Auto-Bounce’s preferences. This will clear out your Auto-Bounce key command preferences and create a fresh file the next time you launch.

Steps to Reset Auto-Bounce Preferences

  1. Quit Auto-Bounce. Make sure it is completely closed and not running in the background.

  2. Open your User Library:

    • In Finder, hold down the Option key.

    • Click the Go menu and choose Library.

  3. Navigate to Preferences: ~/Library/Preferences/

  1. Delete the Auto-Bounce preference file: com.Auto-Bounce.AutoBounce.plist

  1. Restart Auto-Bounce. A fresh preference file will be created automatically, restoring default key command settings.

Important Notes

  • This process resets Auto-Bounce’s internal preferences (including key command settings).

  • It does not reset Logic Pro key commands — those must be managed separately inside Logic.

  • If issues continue after a reset, verify your Logic Pro setup, key commands, and display settings.

✅ That’s it — you’re back to a clean slate with Auto-Bounce key commands.
