Auto-Bounce Won’t Start? Here’s What to Do

If Auto-Bounce isn’t running on your system, don’t worry—most issues are caused by a missing setup step. With version 1.42 and later, Auto-Bounce is more reliable than ever, and we’ve created simple guides to help you get up and running.

1. Start with the README FIRST

Inside your Auto-Bounce folder you’ll find a file called README FIRST. Follow this step-by-step guide carefully—it covers the most common causes of Auto-Bounce not starting.

2. Complete the Pre-Flight Checklist

We’ve also created a Pre-Flight Checklist that helps confirm all Logic Pro settings and key commands are correct. Think of it as a quick double-check before takeoff.

3. Verify Your Key Commands

Auto-Bounce depends on a small set of Logic Pro key commands. If they aren’t set up properly, Auto-Bounce cannot run. See: How to Set Up Auto-Bounce Key Commands.

4. Make Sure You’re on the Latest Version

We strongly recommend updating to Auto-Bounce 1.42 or later, where reliability improvements and setup guides are built in.

Tip: If you’ve gone through the README FIRST and Pre-Flight Checklist and Auto-Bounce still won’t start, please open a support ticket and include your Logic version, macOS version, and a screen capture of what you’re seeing.
